technophobia
the fear of technology; the reluctance to use or learn how to use computers. Most often, this term is used inappropriately to blame users for their distaste for technology when in fact the technology truly is to blame for its bad design. Typically user antipathy toward technology indicates a failure to be responsive to user needs, a difficult-to-learn system, or one that is slow or otherwise fails to be an acceptable improvement over doing things without technology.
